A total of 17 people were arrested during an undercover prostitution sting in east Harris County, authorities announced on Tuesday. The two-day operation, conducted by the Harris County Sheriff's Office last week, included both undercover male and female officers.
Authorities said the sting targeted prostitutes and those who esst sex from prostitutes in a Cloverleaf subdivision and along the I East corridor. The sting coincided with a national campaign to end prostitution and sex trafficking. Some 20 different agencies in 11 states participated in the "National Day of Johns Arrests," which resulted in the arrests of people for soliciting sex. Most Popular.
