Publication Policy COST Action IS1405 (updated after the Bulgarian meeting)

The following constitutes the method of acknowledging COST Action IS1405 in publications as agreed by the Action’s Management Committee.

  1. Direct output (Action wide or Work Group specific)– presentation/paper/output that is undertaken as a result of the Action,  originating from the work undertaken in a WG, or across one or more WGs and which has a direct link to the COST Action and/or the activities listed in the MOU.

Author by-line: Author 1, Author 2 etc ‘for the EU COST Action IS1405: BIRTH Acknowledgements: This article is based upon work from COST Action IS1405 BIRTH: “Building Intrapartum Research Through Health – an interdisciplinary whole system approach to understanding and contextualising physiological labour and birth” (http://www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/isch/IS1405), supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).

  1. Indirect output – presentation/paper/output that has an indirect link to COST action but was not mentioned specifically in the MOU.
  2. a) if the presentation/paper/output originated from works done prior/in parallel to the COST Action and not further developed because of the involvement of the author/s to the Action.
